ABOUT US
We are manufacturers of RE-4, a new material solution for packaging. With its low carbon footprint, low costs, and a promise of scalability from a volume perspective, we put a fully sustainable material into reach of all corporations.
Refour is not a consumer goods company nor a packaging producer. We are a material manufacturer, supplying an entirely new category of material, RE-4, born to address the climate emergency. It is the greenest solution you’ll find, making an impact one package at a time.
With RE-4 we are finally done saying `What If´; No more speculations and theories that doesn’t go beyond words. Instead, we have put theory into practice and brought the `what if´-scenarios to life.
Not only do we wish to impact resource consumption, helping protect our oceans, forests, and biodiversity by fighting over-consumption of plastic and paper, we too wish to impact the future of the entire packaging industry and move it into the circular economy.
The nature of RE-4, both in terms of its low carbon footprint and low cost price, allows us to reach beyond standard business approaches and truly act on behalf of the planet and all of us. This is precisely what has driven RE-4 from idea to proven concept.
Refour was officially founded in 2016 by Mr. Torben Andersen, after years of research and development. At our headquarter in Skanderborg close to Aarhus, we have the largest R&D Demonstration Center of its kind in the world. The Demo-center includes a full-scale roll stock production line and processing lines for forming the material, which allow us to demonstrate just how easily RE-4 can be applied to our customer’s existing production lines.
