Refour is suitable for almost all packaging applications, but we particularly highlight applications for the Food & Beverage Industriy, whether you are using cardboard, paper, plastic, aluminium or something else entirely, you will always get the best relation between price and environment when you use Refour’s material.
Packaging made from Refour’s material typically weighs only half compared to similar packaging. This offers great savings for the environment and significantly lower costs.
Packaging made from Refour’s material typically insulates better so whether you need to keep milk cold or coffee hot, you will have a unique comfortable experience without burning your fingers. It will therefore no longer be necessary with extra cups or holders for hot beverages such as coffee, cappuccino, etc.
Refour’s material has good barrier properties so that both air, moisture and light have difficulty penetrating the material. A paper cup must have a plastic coating inside, in order to keep the coffee in just a few hours. This coating makes it virtually impossible to recycle a paper cup, whereas Refour’s is easy and simple to recycle.
The Refour material does not emit odors and flavors to the food and is, of course, approved for direct contact with the food product.
Use the existing production lines
Refour’s material is produced in continuous length on large reels – just like you do it in the paper industry…..
Note that Refour’s material in contrast to all-plastic products, but similar to paper products, has non-memory properties. Hence, Refour’s material can also be applied to a part of the existing production equipment of the packaging industry.
It does, however, require a minor upgrade of the processing equipment – an upgrade which Refour supplies, and implements and it typically takes just a few days for our experienced technicians, to get you up and running again.

High quality printing
Refour will open up a completely new and very large world of quality printing on packaging, among others Flexo and HD Flexo. It is also possible to make digital printing, and even with 3D effects.
